The AGM on 23rd April signals the end of this year's season.

Ashington Coop Camera Club has had a successful 2008-2009 season. The exhibition at Woodhorn has had some excellent reviews and has helped boost our membership to 37 at the time of writing.

Thanks are given to everyone who helped make the exhibition a success. The members for contributing their work and helping select the final images and those members who gave up their spare time to run a number of photography workshops throughout the exhibition. A special thanks goes to Bob Thompson for his excellent work mounting and framing all of the images and for allowing some of the cameras from his wonderful collection to be displayed alongside the prints.
Thanks also go to Keith Merrin, Director of the Woodhorn Museum and to Liz Ritson, Paramjet Kharia and all the staff at Woodhorn.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank all of the judges and speakers who have contributed to this year's season of competitions and lectures.

Finally, I would like to remind everyone that Ashington is one of the only Clubs in the area to run a full programme of events all year round. So, while all the inter-club competitions and events are over until September, we will be running a series of workshops, outings and in-club competitions throughout the Summer season, details of which can be found in the "Club Programme" section or by clicking here.
